Description
After finally getting around to see Todd Phillips "Joker" and the wonderful performance from Joaquin Phoenix it struck me just how many times this character has been translated to the screen. Not just the multiple live-action portrayals on TV and Film, but also the animated versions. Just since 1966 we've seen:

1966: Caesar Romero's rendition on the Classic Batman TV show,
1989: Jack Nicholson's memorable take from the Batman film from the same year,
1992: Mark Hamill voiced Joker from Batman the Animated Series,
2008: Heath Ledger leaving an indelible mark on the character and the Nolan franchise,
2016: Jared Leto taking the character in very different direction in Suicide Squad,
2017: brought us Lego Joker in the Lego Movie and subsequent Lego Batman film,
2019: brings us full circle to "Joker" and Joaquin Phoenix giving us maybe the most haunting version yet.

So I contacted commission artist extraordinaire Gary Martin and gave him this idea. An Arkham Asylum line-up with all the captured and incarcerated versions of the Joker, each with a carefully chosen prisoner number for their prison orange jumpsuits.

It's such a complex and resonating character that I have to agree with Batman's caption: "I hope that's the last of them. But I doubt it."

Great idea !!!  I'm so glad Joker '66 made the cut.  I guess Lego Joker as well.  Cesar Romero's Joker is still my favorite.
