Description

Grant Morrison's Batman story is my favorite Batman run of all time, with Frank Quitely's Batman & Robin storyarc being the crown jewel of the entire epic. And this is just so happens to be my favorite page from it. Not every day you have a chance to own your favorite page of a run, but I'm glad it worked out for me.

Shoutout to Andy Kubert, John Van Fleet, JH Williams III, Tony S Daniel, Lee Garbett, Ryan Benjamin, Frank Quitely, Philip Tan, Cameron Stewart, Andy Clarke, Frazer Irving, Chris Burnham, Chris Sprouse, Yanick Paquette, Georges Jeanty, Pere Perez, Ryan Sook, Lee Garbett, Scott Kollins, David Finch, and Scott Clark for making Grant's words look so good.

"Batman and Robin will neve die!"

Holy cow! What a Quitely! Seeing this page as it was published is great, but the original art is incredibly stunning. I am seriously in awe of this.

Thanks for sharing.

The detail and design is so great, Quitely really knows how to design an action packed page.  Congrats on some really great pieces of his.

For me, it isn't often that an uncolored piece has as much impact as the fully rendered and colored final product.  But man-oh-man!  This piece is gorgeous without the colors.  WOW!

If anyone unfamiliar with Quitely's work were to ask why the artist is so revered, I would point them to this page.  Stunning.

Fabulous splash by Frank Quitely! Stunning scene of Batman and Robin dropping through a glass skylight! Great pick-up!
