Description

1991. This storyline was the first time I encountered the art of Jae Lee, and I’ve been a fan ever since.

Marvel Comics Presents at its height was a great mixture of new artists, old artists, hot artists and a few who may have been past their prime. I don’t think we’ve had anything quite like it on a regular basis since then.

Great way to have a lot of cameos on one page. Lee's uses of shadows to define shapes and details is very evident from this time period. Of course, he is one of those artists you mentioned that was on the rise doing a run on this anthology series.

I overlooked a lot of the MCP stories back in the day. Cool to see Lee's take on these characters.
