Classic issue further pushing comics as a whole towards more mature tastes and sophistication. Chaykin operates free from the comics code along with many quality indie titles that were making the scene more exciting than ever before.

American Flagg! is what started my life long love affair with comics. It showed me that comics could be a serious medium for storytelling of "grown-up" themes. This is also a particulrly good example of Howard's work on AF! Congrats!
