A really early Garfield. I really like the earliest versions of this comical cat. I know, many of my comic art friends and fellow collectors roll their eyes and tease me about collecting these. It is all in fun and I collect what I like and these early examples of this fat feline are quite charming.

Garfield was the first comic strip I fell in love with, and cemented my love for comics. Nothing wrong with colleting what you love. And imo these early ones have a lot more charm than the later factory Paws in produced strips. Ijust picked up 2 o the sketches, and I liked raw feel to them added a lot of charm.
