That's a beautiful piece. I like how the squiggly lines are used to show the arrows' shadows on the uneven sand. Great touch.
Exceptional piece- the late 40s early 50s DC western books are a window on the silver age
Toth is truly a master at his craft.
When I look at this art , I taste the sand, smell the gunsmoke and can feel,the arrows whizzing by
Toth has a way of making you feel like you're there !

Stunning cover by Alex, on one of DC's most forgotten characters. I have long admired this cover and am so happy it is now residing in the home of one of the premiere Golden Age art curators.
