DescriptionI'm frankly kinda embarrassed to be sharing this meager offering during a week that we got a splendiferous Mankini Thor. I (and Esad) will happily settle for second fiddle here though.Commissioned directly from Esad, this piece took some twists and turns along the way but man-o-man how can I complain about the end results here? Signature power from Thor and general sliminess from Loki. Although looser than his cover work, there's an undeniable level of detail and thought to this piece that push it to another level. Absolutely ecstatic about how this commission turned out! Social/Sharing |

I love the motion of the hammer and the power in this piece it would make a great wrap around cover for sure.

A piece that could only be improved by a mankini and some goofiness. That which was lost will always be mourned, but this is about as good as I've ever seen from an Esad commission. Congrats!

Someone is gonna be reminded of the taste of Uru metal...Oh, Loki, he's gonna pummel you every time. What a fantastic color commission from Ribic! It's a great scene, and I can almost hear Mjolnir whirring. And his light source work is seriously impressive. Nice score. Congrats!

You fool! If you were a Thor connoisseur, you'd know spinning Mjolnir clockwise causes a blowing effect so the cape is safe. Counter-clockwise and Thor becomes a Loony Tunes cartoon. Fortunately Mjolnir knows when to suck and when to blow.

Hahaha judging by this snapshot in time, it looks like Loki got out "Goo..." before his larynx stopped functioning.

Awesome faceoff image, E! I like the choice for the sheer amount of colors that would be packed into a piece with these 2. Great composition, and I love the how the sheen is rendered on the shiny parts of both combatants' costumes! I need to get a Ribic piece myself soon. Big congrats!
