A thrilling battle page that is special effects CGI before it was invented! Buscema's control of anatomy and fight choreography made this hero vs hero encounter great for fans to get bragging rights of their favorites! The Tuska inks makes them look so lively and more convincing when taking in the heavy impact blows!

Wow, what a great page. Lots to love about this page, including that top panel and the action panels. This is a really great pickup!

Ya gotta love JB Avengers especially a scarce page showing Av vs X-Men with cool 1/2 splash and great action panels--and not his regular inker. Congrats on the pick-up.

I once owned this page. My favorite period of Big John's pencils.

You know I've read the interviews where Big John states he has no love for superheroes - hard to imagine what might have been possible if he did!

This is a magnificent example of early Buscmea, a period when his anatomy was more dramatic and there was such tension in evey panel. well chosen!
