Description

I had the original daily of Rip Kirby kissing Kismet Kildare for a couple of years now, but the brochure featuring her is a recent acquisition. I was so excited seeing this brochure for the first time, never even knew of its existence until I saw it on Heritage Auctions. I thought the two would be a perfect match framed together, just when I thought I was done collecting Rip Kirbys I get pulled back in!

So cool to have it framed together! A lovely kissing scene with warmth and romance. It's a reminder of how the strip was popular and how it still holds importance.

Great presentation and nice strip. Is it just the picture or does the secondary matt or bevel change color from purple to black?

Wow...amazing strip! The cinematic panel layout really conveys the emotions of the characters. Congratulations! Beautiful presentation!

No wonder you got pulled back in, Thomas, with such a wonderful example. I love what you did with it in conjunction with the brochure. The purple pin-striping behind the strip proper is inspired!
