Description

I was pleased to get some pages from ROAD TO PERDITION by Max Allan Collins and Richard Piers Rayner directly from Mr. Piers Rayner. This page features gangster Al Capone, whose nickname was "Scarface" and is based on photos of the mobster These incredibly detailed pages are all the more remarkable in that they are only about half the size of a traditional comic original.

The likenesses are really clean and the detail extends to the backgrounds with the illustrative hatching density of linework bringing levels of depth.
