A vibrant cover with real punch. Chaykin at his best! In addition to being a superbly executed cover, this piece neatly sums up the core themes of the series' early issues.

This collection was my first exposure to American Flagg! back in the mid-1990s (I stuck to Marvel and DC as a kid in the 1980s). I picked it up from a Bud Plant catalog, and I remember being blown away by it. A classic image from a groundbreaking series!

Absolutely gorgeous! If I ever make it out there to see the Grell painting, will definitely have to include this on the tour as well.

For a second, I thought this cover was for sale. Great storytelling on the image where Chaykin uses Flagg to tell us he ain't selling out.

Scatchamagowza! Eeshk! Now THAT'S a signature and indelible image. Yowza! Incredible color choice to assure maximum impact and that this piece absolutely CANNOT be ignored.
