Karate Kid and Matter-Eater Lad game book art

Published 1986 by Mayfair Games.
They were published in the Legion of Super-Heroes Volume 1 Heroes Role Playing Reference book. This and the the other one were gifts from my friend Matt.
Unfortunately, the artist did not sign and credits in the book say: by DC Staff.
Most of the illustrations were repurposed from Who's Who books and the Legionnaires' Fact File published in the Baxter Legion issue #17 but these were apparently done specifically for the game books.
So any help in identifying the artist is most welcome.
