Both the Oath and Tomar-Re are very important in this early issue of Green Lantern as it would set the standard and normalize Hal's ties to the corp as a wider and more expansive entity.  Only one panel in costume and Kane makes it count.

Hal in and out of costume, the introdction of Tomar-Re, a panel with Carol and the ring charging oath. Another gem in your collection.

If this was only a GL oath page, any one would be happy.  The first appearance of Tomar Re is a great plus.  But can we just agree that he's a rubber chicken  ??  The Carol / Hal romance was one of a few couples in the DC universe.  And they didn't hit you over the head re: class differences and workplace romances.

This is -like- all of silver age Green Lantern in one page. Can this even be beat. I raise my ring to you, sir.
