Marvel Treasury #13, page 48 (George Tuska Hulk and Silver Surfer)

Surfer in his thoughts having his own perspective on the hustle and bustle of everyday life that happens below is something unique to the character.  You can tell Trimpe is influenced from Kirby and Buscema from faces to figures.  With characters like Surfer and the Hulk, there is no pretense and you can tell what they say is what they feel.  The civilians are great as well.  I the cherubic kid during the holidays that feels none of the stress.  It's the face you'd find in older Kirby comics. 

Perceptively observed, as always, Marcus.  The lyrical quality of this page cannot be underestimated.

Perlin's inks made this page him with heavier flowing inks that captured the iconic Buscema Surfer style.   The 3rd panel is a quintessential Surfer headshot.   The aerial shot of Doctor Strange's brownstone explains the Hulk being indoors.   Mt favorites are panels 1 and 3, and it is obvious CAB wasn't on Santa's naughty list last year.

What an incredible page. Not only is it holiday themed and feature the Surfer and ol' greenskin, but the Surfer's dialogue in the first two panels touches upon life advice a friend's mother once taught me, in regards to treating others as if they were nothing more than crushed sugar cane. Something that I, for one, have never done, but is certainly a lesson to always be mindful of. Kudos on owning such a gem, CAB!

Many thanks, Rubén!  I had also forgotten to mention the Surfer's reference to snowflakes (each of which, as we all know, is, like human beings, unique) itself generates more general questions about life itself.  For example, whilst snowflakes are so ephemeral, human life, whilst relatively longer, is also finite.  Looked at in that light, it is so sad that human beings do not spend more time being kind to each other.  Instead, we have all forms of evil (including wars).  Such a terrrible, terrible waste.

I loved the new pages they included in the Treasury editions to introduce the reprints and this is a great one by Trimpe.

Many thanks, Dewey!  Yes, this is a particularly poignant one and is well-executed by Trimpe and Perlin.  The comics medium is actually quite a delicate one as, on occasion at least, the best concepts and ideas are let down by a lack of visual ability.  Fortunately, not so here; it is quite the opposite.

I love the way this page makes me feel - the hopefulness of Christmas, peace and love. So ironic that Silver Surfer was portrayed in the Defenders as almost a messianic character, given his history with Galactus.
