DescriptionPosting two OAX pick-ups tonight, from Spider-Man issues #33 and #34. I got to meet and chat with Bob McLeod a lot at the convention. He is a super nice guy!Just love Bob's masterful artistry and storytelling in these two issues. The inking is fantastic! I had a great time that whole weekend in Orlando. This was my very first group event since COVID first hit, and I'm still a little gun-shy about the virus, so I wasn't as social as I hope to be next year. I had fun designing a special mask for the event though, which said "PAUL P IS UNDER HERE." Haha! But I was so happy to finally meet face-to-face so many of the friends I've made online through CAF and the hobby in general through the years. Social/Sharing |

I'm not a panel page guy, but I actually like this page better than the splash. Love the two shots of Punisher in the first and last panels. And of course that great action shot in the middle. Fantastic page buddy!

All this just so they can be first in line for those homemade pies! This alley fight shows off McLeods action storytelling and handling of inks and zip with a falir that was both gritty and slick!

Wow! Now THIS is a great quality Punisher page. McLeod's long history inking Mike Zeck also shows through quite clearly here. Congrats!

Superb Spidey storytelling action, no doubt, but I gotta say Frank steals the show at the bottom - literally blasting outside the panel! More McLeod top to bottom goodness, Paul, congrats!

That's a great page from Bob! There was always something special about these Spidey/Punisher clashes...maybe it's the contrast between the pair, and the uncertainty in how their encounters would shake out.
