Dylan Dog #344 "Il sapore dell'acqua" (The taste of water) is written by Gigi Simeoni and illustrated by Giorgio Pontrelli.
Here, Dylan Dog is dealing with a case of a person who died after ingesting an acid of which there is no trace left, and is connected to another case in which this mysterious acid turns up again. Everything seems to lead back to a pendant made of a rare metal, rhodium, which contains a sulfur crystal inside. To solve the case, Dylan will enlist the help of Hamlin, an expert in alchemy.
I like Pontrelli's style on Dylan Dog and chose this page also because there's Rania Rakim present... I believe she was one of the most interesting characters in the Recchioni-era (2013-2023) Dylan Dog, a Scotland Yard sergeant who was sadly wiped out by the events that destroyed the (alternative) reality that Recchioni had built. Now, in the Baraldi-era, we come back to a situation much closer to the one Slavi created, back in the 80's, at least in terms of the cast of characters and their relationships.
