The new frame definitely puts the focus back on a historic piece of original art.
This is something. It's really a show stopper. Nice, Jim!!
Wow!
A historic cover in the underground comix canon. Such a cool piece to own. Congrats Jim!
HOLY!@#%^%cow JIM. I'm dumbstruck with wonder. Congrats.
A shocking cover
Good lord! Unbelievable!
WOW what an amazing Crumb cover!
Iconic
Holy Fuck!
The cover that shocked the world of Comix! As it marked the official arrival of counterculture into the medium and opening up a new tributary for creators to express themes that challenged the status quo!
That's the stuff right there Jim! Thanks for sharing :)
The Quintessential Crumb.
Awesome and historic. Definitely NOT shocked to see this here :)
Cool to see the original frame and the center art as well - very memorable image!
I have always found this a very disturbing image of a very disturbed individual. I mean, we all know whats plugged into what. Roberts memorably manic vision in full flow here. Having said that, it's great.
Iconic underground piece! Congrats on the pickup and the lovely frame.
Monumental!
Such an awesome cover! Congrats!
Love that frame!
Wow was my first thought when I clicked on this. Congrats Jim!!!!
A piece of Comics history !!!
The shot heard round the world. Man, that first issue of Zap Comix was like an atom bomb went off. It was the beginning of a whole new era of comic art that changed the assumptions of everyone. Suddenly comic artists were leading the rest of the art world in what would be drawn, what could be expressed and what a comic book could be. This comic was the beginning of a whole new way of seeing comic books as more than just children's entertainment. Suddenly comic books could be for adults. That began right here, with this book. Epic. Iconic. Historic.
For me one of the most important comic artworks, huge congrats for owning such an historic piece.
One of the most famous and important works by the most influential counter culture artist and influential cartoonist of the 20th century.. no joke! Congrats!
