Issue 600 may not have had the buzz around it as 500, but it is one of the most well earned celebrations of the title bringing Batman into a post 9-11 world more grounded than ever and set the stage for Batman in the '00s.  Brubaker and McDaniel brought back the dark crime noir stories into the fold.

Any page featuring a shot of costumes in glass cases is a winner to me!

I like the panel layout here within the larger splash of the Batcave, McDaniel's style and Brubaker's writingworked really well for this early 2000s era run
