I always wanted to own some original art for a painted movie poster, but I never imagined I’d own art from a John Wayne movie. This beautiful piece is produced by Renato Ferrini for THE GREEN BERETS Italian 2-Sheet Movie Poster - this is the Original Art from 1968 used to produce the poster. The Italian 2-fogli was the standard sized Italian movie poster at the time. A nice big shot of John Wayne, also featuring a recognizable image of co-Star David Jansson. Produced in gouache on illustration board with an image area of 11.5" x 17". Signed by the artist in the lower left corner. There is some wear and handling in margins and on corners, but otherwise it’s in Excellent condition.
