Description
Although I grew up loving DC and Marvel comics BOTH (EQUALLY), shortly after I began to collect original comic art I realized I couldn't afford to collect both. So I landed on DC. But every once in a while, some Marvel stuff creeps in and it always makes me happy.

In this case, when my youngest son was getting into comics, my wife and I gave him some comic art. Over time, his interest diverted to other things so I bought the pieces back from him and added them to my collection. This is one of those pieces. And I love the overall unique layout; especially the four panels on the right showing the sequence of Spidey's efforts.

As you can discover, I own several pieces by Val. I have loved his work since the DEMON series and have enjoyed picking up more of his work on other things as well. Using the Grand Comics Database, I tried to find out the inker because it isn't on the page. They have three inkers listed so I did too.

Very strong spidey piece with a classic trope of him trying to do too much and puttin g himself through incredible strain!  The suspense builds as he's losing his grip and the people below are in mortal danger!

I am not ashamed to admit it. If you buy me comic art, I''ll call you daddy.
