Spider-Boy has been transported to Earth-51778 and suddenly finds himself piloting the giant robot Leopardon!

Leopardon is the robot partner of that Earth's Spider-Man, who is now with the Spider-Women back on our Earth.

And as Spider-Boy tries to get his bearings, he looks out of the windows of his cockpit and sees that he is up against a Kaiju version of one of HIS OWN FOES ....

The villain that he and Spider-Man fought in Spider-Boy's very first solo issue a few months back!

It's .... GUTTERBALL!

No wait! It's KING BOWLER!! Earth-51778's version of Gutterball!

I love the design of King Bowler (check out the additional pics of the colorized published pages for full comedic effect). I can tell Nate Stockman had a blast drawing this issue.

King Bowler unleashes his PIN MISSILE STRIKE!

Leopardon fires his ARM ROCKETS!

FTAM FWAK!!!

It's ON, baby!

At the end of the page, Spider-Boy is told by Earth-51778's Spider-Man to yell "ARC TURN!" Which fires the boomerang shaped projectile off of Leopardon's head.

And ....

You guessed it ....

CLIFFHANGER!!
