DescriptionFour pages of, if I'm not mistaken, Takaharu Kusonoki's Black 6, published in Shõnen Club in 1959 + a bonus page by Koichi Iimori.I won these in an Instagram giveaway by Sultans of Manga, the world's only exclusively manga gallery here in Antwerp (at a very nice location, a little tower with view of the Schelde, to boot). Got an extensive tour of the place by the kind and very knowledgeable owner, who regaled me with many stories and anecdotes of his time in the industry, and showed me a bunch of other cool manga works ranging from SD Gundam pages, Yuji Hosoi's King of Fighters to his original Tezuka Astroy Boy drawing. A manga style that was emerging and evolving with the lively figurework that could just as easily have been used in animation. The gangster theme of these pages shows the range of cmics of that time period.
