The Mystery Legionnaire!
written by Cary Bates

Page 11 of story

Cos continues his explanation of Klim's previous defeat and the mystery of the Legionnaire that defeated him. At this point, you are probably wondering why they are just standing around giving explanations to their enemy.
Klim doesn't care as he puts his plan into action to dispose of the Legionnaires and finds out that this was just a distraction to allow Shrinking Violet time enough to perpetuate another sneak attack.
And they can now put on Klim's cell door (or cell box) "Twice thwarted by a tiny teenager"

Ohh that split layout panel up top to show the compisite Legionnaire is nice, as is the rest of the page. Great artwork throughout the story even if the over explaining writing was a bit much by the end. Shrinking Violet for the win!

No surprise that the final page is as much a banger as all the rest. A pretty hokey, childish ending, but that WAS DC's forté back then. Such a strong overall quality complete story!
