Legion: Action 389 story

A story spotlighting Chemical King Chemical King was one of my favorite, but little used Legionnaires, so it is nice to pick up this almost complete story that spotlights him. His powers, the ability to speed up or slow down chemical reactions, apparently tasked the writer's imaginations. So much so that he was killed off in Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes #228 (1977) while stopping Deregon, an agent of the Dark Circle, from starting World War VII. I have an affinity to Chemical King because my undergrad degree was in Chemical Engineering.
