A fantastic cover with tons of iconic Boston landmarks and lore. Jesse is constantly evolving and this cover is no exception. Congrats!
Thanks so much! Whatever Boston landmark he couldn't work into the skyline here, he most certainly added into his story in the one shot. So many footnotes in that story, clearly a project he was excited to be a part of!
Oohhh I recognize many of these Boston landmarks from The Pru to the Citgo sign (which I used to live across the street from during college)! Such an awesome Godzilla AND Boston piece, love it. congrats man!
Thanks Kavi!! The Citgo sign was defintely one I knew, some of the names of the buildings, not so much! I do love that he worked in the harbor back there too.
Sidenote, thankfully the city wasn't attacked by a giant kaiju during those college years!
I'm only a little jealous that you own a copule pieces of Jesse's art and I own none...
That elusive Stingray is no doubt right around the corner!
Jesse akways does amazing work. His rendition of Godzilla is amazing!
Very much agree there, have loved seeing each new project he works on!!
No one saying the words "Green Monster" has me worried.
Haha I was waiting for that Green Monster by the Green Monster comment!
One green monster has zero chance agains the other green monster in this scenario!
Lonergan bringing the cover quality kaiju perspective! Absolutely love that he is standing in the center of the ballpark. It changes the entire piece. Anyone betting on the Red Sox in 7 is going to be disappointed!
Absolutely fantastic! I didn't know anything about this book until I saw it on Jesse's Instagram a week ago, and I'm very jealous of your pick-up. Congrats!
Thanks so much! Yeah, it was one that kind of flew under the radar a bit with all of the other Godzilla projects that have been hitting store shelves. It's really a charming little love note to Boston if you get a chance to check out the story!
I picked up several pages at OAX - The T, Prudential and Hancock ones. Really fun!
Ahh fantastic! I was talking with the Sam & Zack at their booth and they said they had sold some from the story!! That's great! Congrats!! I was flipping through at the others and was super tempted. Fantastic stuff!
