A beautiful painting by McCarthy. He had been considering a Doctor Strange for a while before it was actually published. I love his take on the "dimensions" of Dr. Strange.

The astral plane allows Mccarthy's imagination to run wild with Ditko design and vibrant colors! I like the door as you can isolate that section like a Topps trading card.

Fantastic concept and the medium works perfectly. Really makes for a unique Dr. Strange commission and that's sayin somethin.
