Description
Adam Warlock by Tradd Moore.

I asked for a Starlin era illustration of Him, and Moore created this beautiful piece.

Thanks George! It was the longest I ever waited for a commission, but in the end more than worth it!

This is awesome, so unique--love the retro 70s vibe, perfect match for Tradd's style.  Very cool!

Thanks Jeremy. Totally agree. I was hoping Moore would make it "his" and he did not disappoint.

I mean, that is a 10/10 commission from Tradd! Tremendous work, congrats. I could stare at his line weights and forms for hours and hours. It's funny, the first thing that caught my eye was some of the organic shapes in the background...some of those upper corner forms brought to mind Matisse's dancers from the MoMa.

Thanks for the wonderful insight. It really is a beautiful piece, and I was knocked out when it arrived. The background is so layered and organic, to see it in person, you can almost get lost in it. And the Matisse comparison is spot on. I see the similarities in forms, line and movement.
