All-American Comics #103 starring Dr Mid-Nite, homage to Daredevil #141

Eighth entry in my "One More Issue" Project commission series, imagining what might have happened if a Golden Age hero and/or title had been given (as the name suggests) one additional issue.

Dr Mid-Nite never actually appeared on the cover of All-American Comics, but I took the view that, as other characters did get a cover slot during the 1940s even after Green Lanten became the main feature (both Hop Harrigan and Mutt & Jeff appeared a couple of times before the book became a Western) it wasn't out of the queston that Dr Mid-Nite might have been allowed to grace a cover at the end of the book's life.

Since Dr Mid-Nite was blind, I searched through Daredevil covers thinking there might have been a cover which played on DD's slightlessness which could also work for Charles McNider's alter ego - but, while I didn't find anything along those lines, I did come across the cover to DD #141, which felt like a Golden Age DC character *and* allowed me to use Green Arrow's Golden Age foe Bulls-Eye to substitute for Marvel's Bullseye, which worked for me.

I also found another DD cover which worked well for another Golden Age JSA member who didnlt last beyond the 1940s, which is now out with another artist. Watch this space!
