Description
Picked up this Sin City: The Hard Goodbye beauty from a friend while at OAX 2026. Picked it up from a friend and got to share it with friends while there. What could be better?

'She doesn't ask any questions. Class dame.'

Miller was at the top of his game with The Hard Goodbye.

Arguably Frank Miller’s last truly great work (and I am speaking as a big fan) and what a fantastic page. Thank you for sharing.

So freaking cool, I even remember reading this specific page for the first time! Peak FM for me IMHO on SC/THG. I know it probably isn't for you, but this is exactly the kind of one and done SC page that checks a lot of boxes for many collectors. congrats!

The middle of the page reminds me of the icons at the beginning of each Ozark episode, and love the speedster in that landscape panel!

I so remember this terrific page!  Miller made a statement with this book.  Love the hard boiled inventory, reverse-silhouetted hot rod, the femme fetale, and of course Marv's profile

It's so amazing with negative space and shilhouettes all having to make sense before Miller even puts down the first drop of ink.

Off to do some DIY. Look at all his equipment. Apparently he doesn't cost an arm and a leg either. He costs two of each.
