Spider-Man/Deadpool 42 (2018 Alternate COVER) by DAVE JOHNSON

The great REV. DAVE JOHNSON strikes again, showing off his affection for MICRONAUTS by showcasing BUG on this cover, even though he doesn't appear in the story.  Anything for a 4th-wall-breaking gag.  Hey, this IS a Deadpool book.

Lots of empty space on the Original Art for this one, so while I was waiting for it to arrive, I threw together some approximations of what the Cover Dress might look like; once printed on a separate overlay, it helps the art communicate better.  You might note that I made no effort to address the menacing Glowing Bug Eyes.   I was confident that there was no way (against a white rather than black background) that they wouldn't read as 'butterflies' to a viewer.  Best not to waste my time.
