Quite moody. Imagine a rebel trooper seeing that coming out of the mist.
Ooof - a brutally beautiful study of the Dark Lord of the Sith. It's true power (and there is quite a bit of it here!) lies in its understatement and expert use of composition, color, and technique. The bold block of black commands the viewer's attention and I absolutely -love- the spatter and black watercolor bleed used here, to show the Dark Side positively -SEEPING- out of Vader, polluting the environment around him... And then the red of his lightsaber, cutting through everything... Perfection. A gorgeous rendition of Vader - an AMAZING Secret Santa present!! Congrats, Kavi!

This could easily be a unseen second or 2 of regret from Episode IV after Vader strikes down Obi Wan Kenobi. Very elegant piece that isn't overdone.

Congratulations on a terrific Darth Vader illustration; I especially like the sense of movement in Vader's cloak and the red light sabre outline really pops against the heavy blacks and grey tone effects.

Interesting! I'm very familiar with Beck's work, but it looks like he decided to change up his style recently, as this does not look like what I'm familiar with. Really well executed!
