This is the climactic page from "Archie Comics Presents To Riverdale and Back Again", which is a 1990 comic adaptation of what looks like an utterly horrible ABC movie of the week about Archie and the gang getting back together 15 years after high school

I've been intrigued by this comic ever since I found out about it, the idea of the Archies being done in noir style by noir master artist Gene Colan is darn near irresistible. It's interesting that the company decided to go that direction rather than going with a realistic artist with a more direct style like Curt Swan. Colan delivers the goods and this is a great page for someone like me who is interested in how the these cartoony characters get translated into real people. It has all the main characters who were still recognizable, Archie, Reggie, Mr. Lodge and Veronica
Why exactly does that chauffeur believe that tearing down Pop's is worth committing mass murder?
