The best Hellboy page from the very first issue of his seed of destruction story arc. I have been waiting for such a perfect example of Mignola dark, moody and incredibly intricate medium... this is it, as far as I am concerned the ultimate Hellboy semi-splash.. and it is mine!

I agree that there aren't many other pages that compare with this. The top panel with the heavy black inks surrounding all the fine detail of the background must be a sight to behold in person, and the image of Hellboy is wonderful.
