Battlestar Galactica (MARVEL) 14 DOUBLE SPLASH pg 02 / 03

These two pages have seen better days, but they're all the more beloved for their warts and scars. An epic double-splash page showing the Galactica finally emerging from the void they'd been floundering through since... I forget? Was it the same void from the original Kobol story arc (issue #4-5)?

The original whiteout (to create the star effect) has worn down somewhat, and the Zipitone™ has yellowed and apparently shrunk a bit over the years.

Interesting to see the extra section of stars added to the extreme Right of the piece - apparently there had been a miscalculation of the total space required for a double-splash, and extra image space needed to be added. The different technique used for the additional stars over the patch suggests to me that someone other than Klaus handled the repair, maybe it was Al Milgrom (the editor of the book, and certainly a famous inker in his own right).
