Love the Black Knight. Oh yeah, it's twice up. Note Comics.org says Tuska, but figures look like Buscema to me. Thoughts?
UPDATE: So I added Tuska as a penciler as well. I am leaning towards the idea that he did the Black Knight and Buscema did some of the other figures.

Tuska did the the story but the cover has always been iffy. Definitely not JB, though. AWESOME cover that really brings me back like Scotty! GREAT find!

The Black Knignt is a very cool character and somehow worked well with and as an Avenger. I hesistated on this cover years ago and regreted it right away (but it was too late!) Back then it was advertised as a John Buscema cover but eyeballing it I think it looks like a collaboration as I suspect more than a few vintage covers are (but were attributed to a single artist & inker). In event it's a great-looking piece Dave..!

seeing this cover reminds me (again) why I love this hobby. Congrats on a true museum piece. For what its worth, both Goliath and Hawkeye look like JB to me :)

I agree with Len that Goliath and Hawkeye look like Buscema to me. I think the Black Knight looks like Tuska especially the face. Great cover! Thanks for sharing it.

That is such a classic image.. I don't know if I was a bigger fan of the Black knight or of Aragorn the winged wonder horse .I am a fan of Tuska but if you look at the faces of the other Avengers, I too, would lean towards Buscema in this case..either way it is a winner.

A true gem~ if that is Tuska, it is the best Tuska I have ever seen. He must have used a photo for referrence for Aragorn.The depiction of him is flawless. Great Avengers piece~ bravo

I could never figure out who worked on this cover--but I just knew that I loved it! Thinking about it now, I see Tuska and some heavy-handed inker, but no Buscema. Either way, it's awesome!

Absolutely fabulous! I have a recreation of this cover by Tuska, but this is the real deal! Tuska lists this as a "Tuska cover" in his art book. Very cool!!!

This is probably my all-time favorite Avengers cover.  I hope you still have it.  What a beautiful piece of art.
