DescriptionThis was the first page that caught my eye from Ken's portfolio. Though the others are more splash-y, I liked the symmetry and balance of this one. Here, Bishop is taking a pause from his pursuit of Cable. In his regular title, Cable was on the run with the mysterious mutant baby born during the "Messiah Complex" storyline. He believed that she could be messiah that would unite the surviving mutants. Bishop, though, is convinced that the baby will grow up be responsible for the disaster that created his future timeline. So in "King-Size Cable Spectacular No. 1", Bishop harries Cable thru space and time, attempting to kill the child. What was ironic is that he inadvertently saves both in the last scene of "King-Size". (Bought from Ken Lashley, WW Toronto, 03/2010)Social/Sharing |
