Description1/3 page panel of a super powered mutant who could have been called Electro, if that name hadn't been used already. A great character design, tragically never used again as far as I know. See additional images. Comes originally from George Wildman, former Charlton editor. Mr. Wildman explains: “It came to pass that in 1974 in our Charlton Engraving Dept. a Steve Ditko story had been shot on film and was ready to go to plate making. The original artwork however had suffered some damage, which was noted when it was returned back to my department, for filing. I forgot exactly how much of the story was ruined—perhaps 50% to 60%. I stopped the remaining pages from going to the dump as scrap, as I had always been one of Steve’s fans so I took it for myself—and cut out the panels of these pages.” Big thanks to David Folkman who sold me this panel and provided this info.Social/Sharing |
