DescriptionJack Kirby self-portrait as super hero from 1987...Kirby vs Cruelty & Stupidity Monster!.....on bristol art-board !i always wanted a 100 % Kirby drawing ,no other inker over the pencil..... after i have see this drawing i was delighted...and this one is damned cool,humor and action! 100 % Kirby and self-potrait as hero ...and a secret message on the comic publishers (Marvel) ???who knows...???.... or easy a humorous idea from Kirby ?...there are lot great and more expensive pages or covers with 100% Kirby,published,unused and self inked...but i'm excited from this one ! ....Look the additional images-the drawing is published in the JACK KIRBY COLLECTOR #10 /1996 ,page 12 . A great piece, really. And indeed, I really believe that Kirby was, in his own fashion, a superhero - or at least a mutant with some kind of superpowers. We all live in the house that irby built!

Awesome. GO KIRBY! It might be fun to one day get blueline copies of this made and have a commission project with different inkers getting to ink good ol' Jack.
