Finnish army cartoon - snow

The pinnacle of my army service was a two week training camp up in Lapland, beyond the Arctic Circle, in January. It was -40 degrees (which actually happens to be the same in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, that's how friggin' cold it is) and snow up to my armpits.

We slept in tents.

I've done a number of these Lapland cartoons, and obviously they are very personal to me. This one was done in 2005 and I think it still might be my personal favorite of anything I've done.
