Description

Pete Hansen did the strip Lolly from 1955 to 1983. It was in the tradition of other career girl strips, never really took off, but lasted nearly three decades. Lolly was a various times, a Secretary, a Wave and, apparently, an actress. Hansen's art was very stylized which probably helped the strip get accepted in the first place. Even if the jokes fell flat, Lolly looked sharp and humorous. These are early dailies, January 8 and 9, 1960.
