Etrigan the Demon Bedevils the Anchor by Brian Churilla

If you've never read the short-lived series "The Anchor", please go do so now. It is awesome. And it features art by the astoundingly-talented Brian Churilla. So after you read The Anchor you should also be sure to check out other comics Brian has drawn like The Engineer, We Kill Monsters, and The Secret History of D.B. Cooper. They are all fantastic comics. Anyway, shortly after I came up with the idea of collecting these commissions with Etrigan meeting/fighting other supernatural characters, i knew I'd evenetually want one with God's leg-breaker himself, the Anchor. And boy did Brian deliver on this one! I love how it looks like they're coming through a tear in space, since they both regularly exist in both Hell and on earth. And Etrigan is attacking from above and behind, little suspecting that the Anchor's left fist is about to smash all of his demon teeth out. Thanks again to Brian for another stunning commission!

Both of these guys are immortal and know how to fight. Etrigan has spent hundreds of years fighting fellow demons and mystical threats and the Anchor has done the same. So who has the advantage? I have no idea! But as much as I love Etrigan, I think the Anchor takes this one after a very long, very brutal battle.
