Tharok by Gene Gonzales

This is the second Fatal Five color portrait Gene Gonzales did for me, and it features the evil leader of the team, Tharok! Half of Tharok's body was destroyed in a run-in with the Science Police and it was replaced with a robotic half which made Tharok much more intelligent and more powerful. Tharok somehow controlled Validus, the most powerful member of the Fatal Five, and in my opinion that's how he stayed as leader. Anyway, the detail Gene put into the robotic half of Tharok here just amazed me. But the human half looks just as good, and I love the two different colored outlines on his two halves. I can't wait to get the next three!
