TMNT Micro-Episode Raphael Prelim 01

Although I have a full group shot in the works I thought I'd try my hand at something with a little more action and yet more simple. This is an action shot of the Turtles' hot-headed, sai-wielding brother, Raphael. The pose reference from an MMA fighter promo photo, this is Raph doing a flying jump kick at the camera with sai in hand (one because knowing Raph he probably flung it at the target first). At this stage of the game I'm thinking an homage to the comics and do a grayscale in copics. This was etched on 9 x 12 with graphic leads. More as it develops.
