Description

This page comes from one of my favorite stories from Moore's run - the reintroduction of Cain and Abel. Ron Randall did a terrific job as artist on this issue, and Moore showed exactly how important/interesting a half-reprint issue could be. This page shows them tussle before the inevitable murder. I'd love to someday be able to get the "Am I your keeper" page from this issue, if anyone knows who owns it.

Hard to believe that so much of DC/Vertigo that came later - Sandman, The Dreaming, House of Mystery/Secrets - originated in this framing sequence by Moore and Co. Not to take anything away from the creators who built around it, of course. Nice little piece of history, congratulations!
