Description

1937. 10 1/2" x 23" paper, possibly gummed on the left and right margins for window display. Following the Mickey Mouse Recipe Scrap Book giveaway by bakeries came the Globe Trotters map promotion for bakeries and dairies. Seen is the "Race Around the World " map and Globe Trotters membership button being shown off by Mickey, Pluto and The Big Bad Wolf. Individual companies could have their logo put on the pieces as seen in this example. Paper cards were cut out from the "Mickey Mouse Globe Trotter Weekly" and pasted on the map. An application to join the club and get the premiums could be obtained from the grocer.
