I liked Sami's Dead World covers he did for IDW and asked about buying one of them, but he told me they were a mix of traditional and digital elements done in pieces and then Photoshopped together. He then volunteered to do a commission based on those covers.
I like what the Finnish artist turned out.

Another incredible piece! I love the way Makkonen uses paint and will be searching his comics out. Your gallery really showcases a side of comic/fantasy/ illustration art I've really been missing out on. Thanks for sharing!
