It took a long time for the 106 pages to publically hit the market, and Gene, you got a nice selection of the art ! Plus, after seeing the larger scans, the Dave Cockrum art touches can be seen over several of the Brown pages- like the Storm face in panel 3 here. Dave did work mainly on the Storm and Nightcrawler heads. Rich

I initially wrote that Cockrum had re-drawn Storm's face in panel 3, but removed that comment because I wasn't sure - thanks for the insight, Rich!

Awesome classic X-Men action of a classic line up of mutants. Incredible artist line up too!! Brown and Sutton !!

I don’t know if you realize it or not but I get the sense that there was a bunch of Romita on this page. Romita was well known for doing touch ups especially on faces and expressions and I can’t help but see his hand in Ororo and Banshee in the third panel and Banshee in the sixth panel. Now I could be wrong but I’m seeing white out on those areas that lead me to believe they were touched up in the bullpen.
