DescriptionThis is the crowning achievement for my BoG gallery: Kelley Jones. Kelley's career on the Bat can be divided into two eras. The first is the Jones and Beatty collaboration on such books as Batman/Dracula. The second is Kelley inking Kelley. Both eras are brilliant and distinct. This piece is 100 percent Kelley--and it is absolutelly BRILLIANT. Pure Kellley Gold---no one draws the Batman quite the same, and his gargoyle is astounding!!! In a collection FULL of stand outs this piece stands (gargoyle) heads and shoulders above almost all of your other BoG pieces. Once again you have proven you are the TRUE Batfan! Keep on truckin', Ari!

Amazing! Jones' Batman was awesome and frightening at the same time. He really gave the character a different look - but one that will stand the test of time. Great pick up!

The other day, after looking at yet another pinup of Batman standing on a gargoyle, I thought that, maybe, perhaps, possibly, I did not need to see another one. Well, after seeing Mr. Jones little variation on this theme, I think I better think it out again.

not a huge fan of Kelley's use of anatomy, but he's a real master when it's a matter of lights and shadows... he's just the perfect artist on the Batman... terrific piece!

The '5-headed clocktower-gargoyle' is a very nice touch. Kelley Jones is one of my favorite Bat-artists. This drawing showed me again why.
