Description

Being a huge Lord of Rings fan and Game of Thrones fan, I've long admired Sean Bean's acting skills when playing a noble knight. In fact, if you haven't seen Black Death and want to see a good medieval story, do yourself a favor and see it. It's actually a very good movie whose box office numbers didn't reflect the excellent storytelling. Anyhow, when the opportunity came up to add this cinematic piece to my collection, I had to make it happen. When I look at it, I not only see Ulric (Sean Bean's Black Death character), but I also see Boromir (LOTR), and Lord Eddard Stark (Game of Thrones). And as a fan of all 3, it doesn't get much better than that! Plus, I thought that Simon Bisley's original comic art covers were his best work, but this is a whole other level above that! The detail and colors of this piece is absolutely amazing! -And he nails Sean Bean's likeness.
