Wow - the big purchase of the year. Talk about escalation. It seems like the best art on the series was on the covers. Congrats!

i tried to get these for years from Jimmy! congratshey Ben, i really think it was a just a matter of right place, right time. he did have the set in his folder, but he wasn't really advertising it for sale. it was only after we talked through some of his other pieces, most notably the full cover Cap/Fury triptych - which was even more expensive - that this deal came into play. i'm a fan of the old steranko SHIELD stuff and really like Jim's modern take on the look so once i saw the whole spread laid out, it just seemed like a great match :D
